At a court held for Northampton County
on Tuesday
at the 14th day of February 1758.
In the complaint of Robert James and Obedience
White against John Gladden and Mary his wife late the widow of Obedience Johnson
deceased setting forth that they the said Robert James and Obedience White are bound
in this court as security for the said Mary her due and faithfull administration
of the estate of the said decedent and performance of his will by bond bearing date
the thirteenth day of February 1749 in the penalty of two hundred pounds current
money and that they apprehend themselves to be in danger of suffering damages by
reason thereof. It is ordered that the said John Gladden and Mary his wife be summoned
by the Sheriff to appear here at the next court to answer the same.
