DEED

Richard Sparrow to Thomas Kilman

This Deed made the 18th day of October 1833 between Richard Sparrow of the County of Accomack & State of Virginia of the one part and Thomas Kilman of the other part of the same place Witnesseth that the said Richard Sparrow in consideration of Twelve Dollars lawful money of the commonweath to him in hand paid by the sd Thomas Kilman a or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained and sold and vy these presents do bargain and sell unto the said Thos Kilman his heirs and assigns Two Acres of Land be the same more or less bounded as follows. NE by the Lands of said Sparrow. SW by the Lands of said Kilman. To have and to hold the said Two Acres of Land with the tenements hereditaments and all and single other premises herein befor mentioned or intended to be bargained and sold and every part and parcel thereof with every of the rights members and apputenances unto the said Thos Kilman his heirs & asigns forever to and for the only proper use and behoof of him the siad Kilman his heirs and assigns forever and the said Richard Sparrow and his heirs with all and singular the premises and appurtenances befor mentioned unto the said Thomas Killman his heirs and assigns free from the claim or cliams of him the said Richard Sparrow or either of his heirs , and of all and every person whatsoever shall will and do warrant and forever defend the same by these presents. We John F. Riley and Nathaniel Topping Justices certify that Richard Sparrow a party to a certain deed bearing date aforesaid in the State of Virginia do hereby on th 18th day of October 1833 and hereto annexed personally appeared before us in our County aforesaid, and acknowledged the same to be his act and deed, and desired us to certify the said acknowledgement to the clerk of the County Court of Accomack, in oorder that the said may be recorded.
